Colored Stone Dragon Carving

This is a modern Wenzhou stone carving work named Dragon Play. The stone has rich natural colors including beige, brown, and reddish-brown. The craftsman adopted openwork and hollow carving techniques to carve vivid dragon shapes, blooming flowers and delicate patterns, with exquisite and complicated craftsmanship. The work is matched with a dark base imitating dead wood shape, displayed on the exhibition stand. It is a representative work of Wenzhou stone carving skills, showing the superb level of traditional arts and crafts.
